Meryl is currently waiting approval to accept insurance policies from Blue Cross Blue Shield and Harvard Pilgrim. In the meantime, please check with your insurance company to see what out-of-network benefits you have for occupational therapy. Meryl charges $100 for the initial evaluation and $75 for all regular visits.

Helpful questions when contacting your insurance company:

  • Do you need pre-authorization or a referral from another provider (primary care, specialist, etc.) before your initial visit?

  • How much is your deductible? How much has been met to date? What percentage of reimbursement does your plan allows for? Does the percentage change with an out-of-network provider?

  • Is there a limit to the amount of visits or money spent per plan year?

  • How does your plan want you to submit claims? Is there a specific form they provide? Some companies accept online submissions while others have you mail in the forms.
